Your business can sell and display paper hearts and earn great promotional opportunities as a Paper Hearts supporter.

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute has flourished into one of Canada’s most distinguished heart health centres for the unparalleled care it provides to its patients, a world-renowned research Institute that brings science from bench to bedside, and the country’s main influencer when it comes to preventing heart disease. It operates Canada’s largest comprehensive cardiac prevention and rehabilitation program, and handles over 211,000 patient visits a year.

2023 Heart Month Ambassador

We’re honoured to introduce Dr. Vincent Chan as our 2023 Heart Month Ambassador.
Dr. Chan is a Cardiac Surgeon at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. He is a leading researcher in the field, with a particular interest in mitral valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive surgery, heart valve bioprostheses and mechanical valves.
